Fixing Noisy Washing Machine: Common Fixes for this Pesky Problem

A noisy washing machine is not necessarily a sign that something is broken, but it definitely can be annoying and is a frequent problem for many. Fixing noisy washing machine is easy but only after it has been determined what the caused the noise in the first place. You can check the drum bearings if the washing machine is making a rumbling noise. The noise can also come due to water getting into the bearings. For this, take the belt off and spin the drum by hand. In case there is a rumble, remove the bearings and replace them with new ones. You can also check the spider at the back of the drum, which is a three-armed device that holds the drum in place. When spider becomes loose, it makes a loud noise. For this, tighten the bolts on the spider and silence the noise.
