A sander is a power tool that is specially used to smooth the wood. People who deal with furniture and wooden products require sanders to give a smooth finish to the wood. Sanders are not only used for wooden works but it can also be used in automotive products to smooth and provide them with a well furnished finish. Sanders that are used for working on wood are operated through electricity but the sanders used in automotive work on compressed air. Orbital sander is one of the different types of sanders available in the market. Orbital sanders are handheld tools that vibrate in small circles or orbits which are used for fine sanding of products. Sanders require electricity to operate but as the new trend is set sanders are also operated through batteries as people are tired of the wires that dangle around and annoy them. Hence cordless orbital sanders have been introduced in the market.
One of the most preferred cordless orbital sanders is the Bosch PRIO which is a multi-functional sander with grinding as its primary function. It has a Velcro Fastening tool holder and covers a sanding surface of 100 x 150 mm, which is rather standard for most orbital sanders. The orbital stroke rate of the Bosch PRIO is 16,000 rpm and requires battery to operate. It has battery capacity of 1.0 a.h. and operates on 7.2 V of power supply. The tool requires Li-Ion batteries which can be recharged. The Bosch sander is very easy to handle and it weighs just 0.7 kg.
