Woodworking is an activity that refers to endeavours involving wood, such as carving, building or simply creating 3-dimensional art. Early woodworking tools such as axes, chisels, pull saws and bow drills were made of copper and later bronze. Nowadays, manual as well as automatic woodworking tools are used depending on need and suitability of the task to be performed. Electricity-powered or battery-run woodworking hand tools are used at home for domestic purposes as well as in offices and heavy industries.
