Here in the kitchen, cabinets need to be cleaned, the drains have to be unclogged and the kitchen counter tops kept sparkling clean to ensure that the entire kitchen wears a clean and tidy look. It is important that the kitchen be kept sparkling clean because all the meals are prepared here. Hygiene therefore is a top priority. Here are some tips to keep your kitchen sparkling clean.
Petroleum distillates and orange-based cleaners are best avoided as kitchen cleaners especially when cleaning rubber, as they tend to disintegrate the rubber. An inexpensive and good cleaning solution is to fill a spray bottle with water and add 2 drops of Ivory liquid of any liquid wash. This mixture would help clean all standard surfaces. For stain removal, a 50/50 solution of water and hydrogen peroxide works wonders. Baking soda and regular shaving cream, such as the Lavera men care shaving cream, can be used to remove difficult stains. For marble surfaces and tiles, hydrogen peroxide is safe to use. The grouts present in tiles are difficult to clean. So, a good spray of peroxide solution will do the trick and remove embedded stains. Do not use peroxide if your tiles are coloured. Club soda is another excellent stain remover. In stores you may find a chalk like stick which, when applied on stains helps remove them.
