There are several theories that support the belief that microwave cooking has its own set of dangers. It is believed that radiation emissions from microwave ovens do not pose a public health risk and radiation injury is extremely rare unless the microwave oven has a damaged latch, seal or hinges. However, many theories believe that dangers of microwaves make it unsuitable for heating baby bottles or blood for transfusions.
