Indesit INF140: User Friendly, though not Environmentally Friendly, Freezer

The Indesit appliance company continued the tradition of producing environment friendly innovative solutions with the launch of INF140 built in freezer. While the freezer got 4 stars, it means you can easily freeze food items for up to a year. The Indesit freezer got energy efficiency rating as “B” with gross capacity of 126 litres and net capacity of 91 litres which enables you to store almost everything you want to. The freezer consumes 280KW of energy per year.

The cabinet door in front of the freezer blends it well with your kitchen. You might not notice that a freezer is placed in the corner. The plastic shelves are so strong that you can easily keep heavy weighing food item on it without it being hampered. The lack of water dispenser and ice cube dispenser doesn’t make much of a difference if we look at other features of the Indesit INF140 freezer. The super freeze option enables you to freeze quickly. An adjustable thermostat is an added advantage. Height of 88cms, width of 54cms and depth of 54.3cms is perfect for any size of kitchen.

The only drawback that we can report is that there is no auto defrost. It means you have to manually remove blocks of ice. The freezer has not been rated energy efficient by Energy Savings Trust. So we cannot say that it is environment friendly. The reversible door is perfect for left handed as well as right handed people.
